Welcome to the Home Page of
St. Peter's Church Conisbrough.

Christian worship has taken place on this site for over 1200 years and the building is officially the oldest building in South Yorkshire and one of the 10 oldest churches in the country. A history of the church can be found by clicking here.

The site is currently undergoing a redesign due to Microsofts decision to withdraw their free web hosting service. In the meantime, you can email or keep up to date with everything that is happening by visiting our facebook page.

St. Peter's is more than just a historic building, it is a "living church" and details of the many things on offer will be found on this website.

Our Mission Statement

The Parish of St. Peter Conisbrough with Clifton is called to be a Christ-like community with a living faith which is effective in reaching out and sharing the Good News of Christ, seeking to unite our society and God's world.

At St. Peter's, we want to provide a place where adults and children are welcome and accepted, where people can be themselves, ask questions and find out more about God and His love for them. We believe that everyone is important to God and that, in Him, we are able to find greater security, peace and meaning.
